He's returned for a fortune and is confronted by memories. Though tycoon JT Hartley is a success in his own right, he's set on claiming his share of his late father's legacy. But first he has to get past the estate executor - none other than Pia Baxter, a woman he's never forgotten.

Theirs had been a fast-and-furious union that ended all too suddenly. And though desire still courses between them, JT knows starting anything with Pia again is just asking for trouble. His future is set in stone. But even the best-laid plans are no match for true passion.

Continuity: The hero in Return of the Secret Heir, JT Hartley, is the half-brother of Ryder Bramson (At the Billionaire's Beck & Call) and Seth Kentrell (Million-Dollar Amnesia Scandal).

However, although this book is linked to At The Billionaire's Beck & Call and Million-Dollar Amnesia Scandal, it stands alone - you don't need to have read the other books to be able to read this one.

RETURN OF THE SECRET HEIR by Rachel Bailey

Genre: Current Series Imprints, Harlequin Desire, Series

RT Rating:

RETURN OF THE SECRET HEIR (4.5) by Rachel Bailey: JT Hartley wants to avenge his mother by challenging Warner Bramson's will as his illegitimate son, even though Bramson's other two sons don't believe him. However, JT may have an ace in the hole with Bramson attorney Pia Baxter. Their teenage affair that resulted in a miscarriage was a terribly painful time, and if anyone found out about their former relationship, she could lose out on her dream of making partner. Despite the animosity that brims on the first pages, Bailey fans the flames of her characters' past and an inferno erupts, resulting in a story that readers won't soon forget.

RETURN OF THE SECRET HEIR by Rachel Bailey

Rating: 5 stars

Stunning is the only way I could describe the sensual journey in Return of the Secret Heir. There were so many twists and turns to this romance. In addition, a shocking and surprising ending for the Bramson men and JT. This romance was brilliant thanks to the extremely talented Rachel Bailey and like the author, I'm sad this is the last book in the series.

RETURN OF THE SECRET HEIR by Rachel Bailey

Rating: 4 stars

Rachel Bailey lives up to the Desire series name with Return of the Secret Heir, a powerful, passionate story.

After a rough beginning, JT Hartley made his own fortune but is determined to claim his share of his late father's estate. His biggest obstacle is dealing with the estate executor, Pia Baxter. Pia is the one woman he has never forgotten and once he sees her, he knows he never will. Pia finds herself in the same position. With desire flaring brightly, how can the two work together and not act on that desire? They both know that to do so, would be a big mistake. They had no counted on passion and love taking over for common sense.

Rachel Bailey certainly disproves the old adage that lightning never strikes twice in the same place with Return of the Secret Heir. Pia's and JT's desire for each other certainly would rival the strongest storm but even with the passage of time, the storm was still capable of lightning strikes. Pia is an incredible woman, filled with honor and integrity. JT was equally as amazing as he sets out to show he is a responsible man. Their love is to die for. Pick up Return of the Secret Heir and be prepared to be amazed at the depth of romance their relationship has. Kudos to Rachel Bailey for penning such a compelling tale with Return of the Secret Heir.

RETURN OF THE SECRET HEIR by Rachel Bailey

Rating: 5 stars

RETURN OF THE SECRET HEIR is as much a story about recovering from past grief and guilt as it is about the unquenchable desire between Pia and JT. It truly is a romance packed with sizzle and sexual tension adding to the page turning quality of the book. It was also lovely catching up with Ryder, Macy, Seth and April.

Rachel Bailey's master story-telling makes the characters come alive on the pages and the reader is personally involved in their happiness and craves the resolution as deeply as they do.
