When it becomes apparent that the crash that killed his brother also stole April's memories, Seth decides to be with her until she recovers. Though he eyes her warily, believing the amnesia is a ploy, Seth falls hard for the beautiful woman with the troubled past who has his future in her hands. Bailey's story evolves naturally, with no jarring interference and a neatly wrapped and convincing conclusion.

Rachel Bailey has written a real "winner", a beautiful love story one of hope with Million-Dollar Amnesia Scandal. The way the author dealt with Seth and April's emotions, the return of her memory, the revelations about her mother, his brother. Talk about a roller coaster romance! Plus there was the most magnificent love scene on a grand piano. I promise you this book and The Billionaire's Beck and Call are both must reads. Talk about sexy billionaires, scandal, mistrust, lies, sexual tension they both have it all. However, Seth's and Ryder's story doesn't seem to be over because out there lurking is a possible half brother wanting his piece of the pie!

Just before an accident that left April Fairchild with no memory and Jesse Kentrell dead, they had been to a lawyer's giving her ownership of one of their hotel in exchange for a pretty worthless record label and recording studio. Now Seth Kentrell, Jesse's brother, plans on getting the hotel back. Instead of letting April go home he insists she come stay at the hotel so he's right there when her memory returns and make sure she isn't faking.
Seth was honest about a lot of things, which I really liked about him. He was upfront about the fact that he wanted the hotel back, that he would find a legal loophole in the contract, about April faking her amnesia. I look forward to a third story involving these characters.
Connection: Seth is Ryder Bramson's (H of At the Billionaire's Beck and Call) half brother. Ryder and Macy (h of At the Billionair's Beck and Call) both make an appearance in the book. Another man is coming out claiming to be a half brother too.
